VicPD are investigating after the body of a kayaker washed up on shore on a popular Victoria beach.
Police tweeted they had discovered the body around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Gonzales Park.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre later confirmed a kayaker was found dead on the beach.
The identity of the deceased and cause of death have not been released.
Officials are trying to determine if the kayaker was alone.
