Drugs, knives, cash seized

A police raid of a housing facility in Victoria’s downtown core has lead to the arrest of three people and the seizure of drugs.

Cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl totalling about $20,000, as well as $21,000 in property including an SUV was found at the facility on Pandora Avenue, Thursday.

Two men and one woman face several potential charges after the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team obtained a search warrant for the Cool-Aid Society’s apartments.

According to Victoria police, some of the cocaine had been cut with meth.

Dozens of knives were also seized in the raid.

A spokesperson for the Cool-Aid Society said the person accused of dealing the drugs wasn’t actually a tenant but was visiting someone who lived there.

A total of nine charges have been recommended against three people.
