The tweet that shook the government.

CTV is reporting that Green Party Leader Andrew Weaver says he had a cordial call with Premier John Horgan that was aimed at easing conflict caused by a tweet last week.

Horgan made a point while on his trade mission in China, to call Weaver on Tuesday night after the Green leader threatened on Twitter to bring down the minority NDP government if it continued to pursue what he described as the “LNG folly.”

The tweet sent last week by Weaver was in response to a statement Horgan made on his current trip in which he indicated he is open to potential LNG investment.
