RCMP say two adults and a seven-year-old girl were found in the home, and their deaths will be investigated by the serious crime unit.
The names of the victims have not been released, although police say their family and the local school district have been notified.
Andy Watson, a spokesman with the BC Coroners Service, says they have very little information to share about the deaths.
Neighbours told CTV they heard an altercation at the home, followed by an explosion.
The bodies have been removed from the building.

Nanaimo firefighters reportedly discovered "several bodies" during a house fire call, Tuesday.
Fire crews responded to reports of a fire at a laneway home on Nicol Street.
The coroners service was called to remove the bodies.
The number of bodies found and the cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
