One person was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a fiery, five-vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Highway Thursday morning.
RCMP were called to the scene between 208th and 216th Street in Langley about 9 a.m.
The collision involved four commercial vehicles and one personal vehicle, which brought eastbound traffic to a halt for several hours.
A driver of one of the commercial vehicles was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the pileup is not yet known.
Highway 1 has been reopened, but there are significant delays.
