An evacuation alert has been issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District.
There is a wildfire in the Clearwater area and the wildfire poses an imminent threat to people and property.
Due to the potential danger to life and health, the Thompson- Nicola Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert for the areas identified below.

- 6704, 6705, 6740 Boundary Rd
- 1080, 1120, 1140 Candle Creek Rd
- 252 Clearwater Airport Access Rd
- 1528 to 6664 Clearwater Valley Rd
- 6288, 6532, 6584 Corral Rd
- 600 to 644 Grouse Creek Rd
- 600 to 612 Moul Creek Rd
- 440 Nakiska Rd
- 5944 to 6177 Trout Creek Rd
- 1197 Barber Rd
An evacuation alert has been issued to prepare resident to evacuate their premises and property should it be found necessary.
Residents will be given as much advance warning as possible prior to the evacuation; however you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions, according to the EOC communications centre.
