Revelstoke RCMP have been advised the body of a dead male has been located on Boulder Mountain.

Police are currently en route to the site and cannot confirm it is the body of missing snowmobiler Travis Allen Brown, 42, of Drayton Valley, Alta.

Brown was last seen at the Boulder Mountain cabin, Saturday at 3 p.m. He was reported missing Sunday.

After an extended effort by ground crews and two helicopters, the search was called off Wednesday evening.

The body of the unidentified man was found at 2 p.m. this afternoon.

“Sledders riding on Boulder Mountain located the deceased male in a rugged, remote area and radioed in the information,” said Staff Sgt.
