A teenager is in critical condition after she was struck by a vehicle in Coquitlam.
RCMP say the 16 year old was crossing the street about 6 p.m. to catch a bus on Como Lake Avenue.
The female sustained serious injuries and is in critical, but stable condition.
Police have ruled out impairment, however, speed was a factor in the collision. The driver, an 18-year-old male, is co-operating with police and was released at the scene.
