A 47-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed in East Vancouver overnight.
Police say the man was crossing Boundary Road, near Vanness Avenue, about 1 a.m. when he was struck by a northbound car.
He was pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to hospital.
The driver is co-operating with police, and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
The man's name has not been released. The death is the eighth traffic fatality in Vancouver in 2015.
