Fatal collision

A male driver died in a two vehicle collision Saturday afternoon in Surrey.

At approximately 4:30 pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of the collision in the 17000 block of
32nd  Avenue.

A red SUV was travelling westbound on 32nd Avenue when it collided with a dump truck that was travelling east bound on 32nd Avenue. The subsequent collision resulted in the SUV sustaining extensive damage.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision. The incident is still under investigation.
