It's been almost 20 years, but The X-Files has returned to Vancouver.
Co-stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have been spotted around the city and have been sharing photos from their shooting locations and off-hours via social media.
Fans of the cult TV hit about FBI investigations of the paranormal are staking out filming locations for a glimpse of the actors.
The 800 and 900 blocks of Hastings Street were the scene of filming on Tuesday, with Anderson and Duchovny reprising their roles as FBI Agents Scully and Mulder.
The X-Files was one of the first big hits for Vancouver's TV and film industry. It had a nine-season run, debuting in 1993 and wrapping up production in 2002 after moving production to Los Angeles in 1999.
Vancouver was also featured in the 2008 big-screen film adaptation The X-Files: I Want to Believe.
