RCMP investigate fire

Police are investigating the Little Bobtail Lake fire after confirming it was human-caused.

The wildfire near Little Bobtail Lake, southwest of Prince George, was reported on May 8 and has since grown to more than 24000 hectares or 240 square kilometres.

It has resulted in the evacuation of residences at Norman Lake and Naltesby Lake (also known as Bobtail Lake).

Further, residents on Bednesti and Cluculz Lakes are on evacuation alert.

Investigators are looking for the public’s help to further this investigation.
