Rainfall warning lifted

The rainfall warning for the Okanagan Valley has been lifted.

There are no current alerts for the region.

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the Central and South Okanagan.

Up to 25 millimetres of rain is expected before noon due to an "upper disturbance."

Osoyoos has already reported 25 mm overnight.

The showers are expected to taper off by noon as the disturbance dissipates.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
