Police ask for public's help

Police in Vancouver are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who is wanted for questioning in connection with a suspicious death investigation.

A deceased woman was discovered in a basement suite at a home on East 22nd Ave near Main Street, on March 3.

The body is that of a 36-year-old Vancouver resident and police are treating her death as suspicious.

VPD spokesperson Sergeant Randy Fincham says they are asking for the public's help in locating 42 year-old Daniel Alphonse Paul in connection with the investigation.

"Police believe that Daniel Paul is a person of interest in the case and that he has valuable information to share in relation to this woman's death."

Daniel Paul is described as:

• Aboriginal
• 5'8" tall
• medium build.
• He has brown eyes and short black hair

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Daniel Paul is asked to call 911 or Crimestoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
