Mounties are investigating a shocking vandalism spree that saw more than 150 tires slashed in North Vancouver overnight.
The culprit or culprits targeted vehicles from Capilano University down to the Park and Tilford area, but the RCMP is urging all drivers in the city to check their tires before getting behind the wheel Thursday.
“For public safety concerns, do not drive your vehicle if your tires are deflated,” Cpl. Richard De Jong said in a statement.
New complaints are still being filed and the RCMP is asking all victims to come forward, reports CTV Vancouver.
They’re also asking anyone who noticed a suspicious person or vehicle overnight to call the North Vancouver detachment at 604-985-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
