Advanced voting starts today

Advance voting starts today across the province and continues for four days, Wednesday, May 6 to Saturday, May 9 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

According to Elections B.C., Advance voting is open to all eligible voters in the province, regardless of reason or circumstance.

Where to Vote cards have been mailed to all registered voters, advising them of advance voting locations and times. Those who aren’t registered can register when they go to vote, and they can find their voting locations through Know Your Electoral District on the Elections BC website, or by calling toll-free 1-800-661-8683.

Advance voting, combined with 12 hours of voting on General Voting Day next Tuesday, May 12, offers 60 hours of voting opportunity – more than ever before.
