A fairly high number of voters have cast advance ballots in the Boundary-Similkameen.
The total advance turnout is 4,774.
The total registered voters as of April 23, is 28,817.
The riding will be one to watch.
Candidates include Mischa Popoff, who was fired by the BC Conservatives, after various comments he made in newspapers columns were considered to be disrespectful.
He is now running as an Independent.
The Liberal candidate is former Oliver mayor Linda Larson. And the NDP candidate is Sam Hancheroff, a former teacher.
Independent John Slater, the last MLA for the riding, left the Liberal party, and is not seeking re-election.
