A rare moment showing a moose shedding its antlers was caught on a Ring camera in Houston, Alaska. After the animal left, the homeowner grabbed and proudly showed them off. Moose typically shed their antlers every year after mating season. According to National Geographic, shedding the weight frees them up so they can store more for the winter. It can sometimes take hours or days for both antlers to shed.
