Embroidering VHS tapes

Cécile Davidovici from Paris, France creates embroidery art. After the death of her mother, Davidovici turned inward and began exploring her childhood memories. Using VHS home videos as her source, she captures images from the personal tapes and stitches the scenes into linen -- it’s nostalgia and innocence from magnetic tape through needle and thread.
