Astronaut Mills (Adam Driver) lives on his home planet with his wife Alya (Nika King) and his ailing daughter Nevine (Chloe Coleman). To get the money to pay for life-saving treatment for Nevine, he accepts a two-year mission into space.

The spaceship goes off course after being struck by asteroids and lands on Earth... 65 million years ago. The only other survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), doesn't speak the same language, but in order to find the escape shuttle that separated from the ship during the crash, they must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.
