$15.8m jackpot winner to buy a Porsche

BC's latest lotto millionaire says he feels like he's been hit over the head after winning a share of last Saturday's record 6-49 jackpot.

Chad Seguin won $15.8 million out of the total jackpot of $63 million, which was the largest single lottery prize in Canadian history.

He says he checked his ticket at a gas station the morning the numbers came in and could barely call his wife to tell her the good news.

Sequin, a retail salesman with two children, says his family still needs time for the big win to sink in.

He says he'll pay off his mortgage, and maybe buy a Porsche or a take a vacation.

He's one of four people, one in Alberta and three in BC, who split the jackpot. (CKNW)
