Nacho Perogies

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg frozen perogies
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 bunch of green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped olives
  • 1 green onion
  • 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg of taco seasoning
  • Canola oil

    Preparation:

    Brown hamburger and add taco seasoning package and cook as instructed.

    Take frozen perogies and add to boiling water. Cook until perogies float to the top and drain water. Fry in medium heat oil until firm and crispy. Place perogies on a lightly greased cookie sheet and top with hamburger mix, olives, green onions and chopped peppers. Final layer will be the cheese.

    Preheat oven on broil (I have my oven on medium so the cheese doesn't burn or melt too fast). Broil until cheese is fully melted and remove from the oven and serve with sour cream and salsa sauce. ENJOY!

    I have been making this recipe for a few years now and it is always a family favorite.
