'Egg bandits still at large': Trail RCMP respond to egg vandalism report

A Trail RCMP officer received an “egg-regious” report regarding teenagers throwing eggs at homes just before midnight on March 15.

The incident reportedly happened around the 1800 block of Topping Street in Trail.

“The real crime here is the waste of eggs in these inflationary times. Who can afford this kind of vandalism nowadays?" said Sgt. Wicentowich of the Trail RCMP.

Officers said that they assume the incident was associated with a large gathering in the area that had been shut down after several noise complaints.

Police did not mention whether they had found the suspects. It is safe to say the case has yet to be cracked.
