Open letter to Kelowna’s mayor and councillors
I was thinking recently that when I was young, liquor was tightly controlled by the government, gambling was illegal as was the sale of drugs, but there were plenty of affordable golf courses.
Now, liquor and pot are sold all around town, gambling is legal and the city will have done away with the affordable golf courses.
It is the systematic destruction of quality lifestyle of seniors, the lower-middle class and outdoor opportunities for the young.
