On Aug. 21, 2021 in Vancouver, (Prime Minister) Justin Trudeau promised, if (his government was) re-elected, it would spend $500 million to train 1,000 firefighters and to buy a fleet of firefighting water bombers and helicopters to fight fires across Canada.
The firefighting planes would be built in Canada—in B.C.—he said.
Trudeau was in fine form, promising everything but doing nothing. Where are the results of those promises?
On Aug. 25, 2023 in Kelowna he visited fire the ravaged Kelowna and West Kelowna (saying) he had our backs and promised he will do more for us. More what? More nonsense?
