I fell off my chair to read in the media recently a U.S. school principal was forced to quit after a Grade 6 parent complained Michelangelo’s statue of David is pornographic.
Americans are different alright. It is perfectly fine to show, daily on television, many extreme and violent programs and movies that include torture and mass killings. They, in turn, give a sad and wrong educational sample to the younger generation. But a beautiful piece of art is pornographic?
