Time is running out to register for the Lake to Lake Art Walk, a kickoff event for Penticton's Ignite the Arts Festival.
The Art Walk will take participants from Okanagan to Skaha Lake, stopping at dozens of galleries, art collectives and businesses with local art on the walls, as well as at-home artist studios. In 2022, the event saw more than 5,000 visits to 33 venues around the city.
Artists, and businesses displaying and selling art, can register to be included on the 2023 Art Walk map up until Feb. 5 at midnight.
The event itself will be Saturday, March. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fill out the form online here before the deadline and the organizers will contact successful applicants. They note that preference will be given to venues in which art is the primary focus.
Selected applicants will be charged $25 to be included.
Artists without their own physical venue can connect with the Penticton Arts Council to potentially find a space to be included in the walk.
Registration and more information can be found online here.
