Past evil must be exposed

Re. Cancel culture

If we as a society are to come to grips with just how evil and vulnerable the human race can be, then we must expose our past to the light of day.

Is there a statute of limitations? Let’s look at the Spanish Inquisition, The Opium (British-Sino) War, the Boer War, the Vietnam War, Christopher Columbus, the Conquistadors in Latin America, Indigenous oppression throughout the world, and even slavery. The common thread among many of these travesties is the involvement of religion.

Perhaps, if we are to become the best version of what it means to be human, we should consider how we can expose the greed and manipulation that allows us to continue to endorse the world view created and consecrated by these individuals.
