Tonight is the night to help raise 10,000 food items for those in need in Penticton

Tonight the night to donate

It's not too late to participate in the annual 10,000 Tonight food-raiser in Penticton.

Tonight, Nov. 24, eager volunteers will be combing the community looking for donated non-perishable food for pickup, part of a larger campaign to raise 10,000 or more non-perishable food items to be distributed to those in need through the Food Bank.

It's easy to get involved. Simply fill a bag with non-perishable food and leave it on your porch today. Volunteers from Penticton Secondary and Princess Margaret Secondary will pick it up after 5 p.m.

Alternatively, food items can be dropped off in labelled bins at Walmart, IGA, Safeway, Save on Foods, Superstore, Wholesale Club, Quality Greens and City Hall, as well as at both secondary schools.
