The three candidates for mayor in Vernon's municipal election face off this evening in a forum hosted by the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce.

The event takes place at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The candidates include incumbent Victor Cumming and challengers Scott Anderson and Erik Olesen.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the forum will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Voters go to the polls on Oct. 15.
