Traffic on Highway 97A south of Enderby is down to single-lane alternating traffic Sunday afternoon after a collision.

Highway 97A just south of Enderby is down to single-lane alternating traffic after a collision early Sunday afternoon.
A passerby told Castanet News first responders were on scene, blocking off one lane of the highway near the Starlight Drive-In Theatre where a vehicle appears to have hit an animal — possibly a small bear.
According to the passerby, RCMP officers, firefighters and paramedics were at the site of the collision at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Traffic is reportedly backing up in both directions.
