Coldstream residents will get a chance to hear municipal election candidates think on their feet at an upcoming all-candidates forum.

The forum will take place Wednesday, Oct. 5 at the Okanagan College lecture theatre.

The event is sponsored by the Coldstream Ratepayers Association and Society for the Protection of Kalamalka Lake.

The event will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Eleven candidates are seeking a seat on council. Six seats are available.

They include incumbents Pat Cochrane, Doug Dirk, Stephanie Hoffman, Glen Taylor, and Jim Garlick.

Challengers include Alex Dantzer, Don Jefcoat, Jeremy Levy, John Myhill, Simone Runyan, and Jeff Stevenson.

Garlick was previously mayor, but opted to run for council instead.

Ruth Hoyte has been acclaimed as mayor as she was unopposed in the election.
