WestJet is looking into what it calls a “technical issue” with its app Wednesday.
A number of people took to social media saying when they logged into their profiles on the WestJet app, they saw the personal information of other customers.

WestJet says that at 3:53 p.m. MST, a technical issue was identified that impacted guest profiles on the WestJet App and noted that the issue was resolved at 4:27 pm MST.
“We sincerely apologize to our guests for this disruption and continue to actively investigate the cause of this issue. We take the privacy of our guests extremely seriously and will continue to provide updates to our guests as required,” read a statement issued to Castanet.
There is no word on how many clients were affected but a Twitter account in the name of Cassandra Keogh said her name was trending and asked the airline why her personal information was being shared with the world.
@WestJet it appears as though I’m now trending on Twitter. I opened a Twitter account just for you. Why are you sharing my info with the World. I’ve messaged you several times. I’ve heard from many many people who have my personal information. Call me now please!!
