Shawn Mendes shares snaps from his July 1 Canada Day long weekend getaway to Vancouver on Instagram, including a matching moment with a friend while downtown.

Canadian singer Shawn Mendes didn't shy away from sharing his Canada Day getaway destination.

Mendes and his friends spent the national holiday on Galiano Island where they took a boat out for a spin and got an aerial view of B.C. from a seaplane.
