A section of Chute Lake Road in Kelowna's Kettle Valley neighbourhood will be closed overnight next week for paving.
From the evening of Monday July 4 to the morning of Wednesday July 6, Chute Lake Road will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., from South Crest Drive to Lark Street.
Drivers will be able to use Okaview Road to Lark Street to detour around the road resurfacing work.
“Motorists can expect delays and should give themselves extra time,” said Tom Wilson, communications manager with the City of Kelowna.
“Only residents who live on the streets accessed solely from Chute Lake Rd. will be permitted access.”
Wilson says about 10.5 kilometres of roads across Kelowna will be resurfaced in 2022.
