Vehicles lined the roadway in Valleyview last June as local car enthusiasts prepared to begin a rolling car show.

A rolling car show is set to cruise past South Kamloops neighbourhoods, retirement homes and long term care facilities this week.

The rolling seniors tour — one of many that have been hosted by local car clubs throughout the city — will see vehicles of all makes and models make their way on a route stretching from Valleyview to the North Shore A&W on Wednesday, June 29.

Community members along the route are encouraged to come out and enjoy the vehicles driving by.

Motorists will start from the Residence at Orchards Walk at 6 p.m., and will head down Valleyview Drive, Columbia Street and Summit Drive to Berwick on the Park.

Car groups will head from the Upper Sahali retirement home along Hugh Allan Drive, making a stop at Kamloops Seniors Village before driving to Pineview.

After rolling past Chartwell Ridgepointe Retirement Residence, the group will make its way to the North Shore A&W.
