It will finally feel like summer in the Southern Interior this weekend, according to Environment Canada’s forecast.
The weekend will see sun and hot weather Saturday and Sunday, say forecasters, with temperatures expected to hit highs of between 27 C and 31 C. On Monday the temperature is expected to climb even higher, with 32 C in the forecast.
Environment Canada says the mini heat wave is expected to break next week, with showers in the forecast forecast on Tuesday and Wednesday and temperatures in the mid-20 C range before jumping to 28 C on the first weekend of July.
