Police were called to a home in Chase when a woman stripped her clothes off while “freaking out” after eating a cannabis edible.

According to Mounties, B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics requested RCMP help on June 7 while responding to a female patient who had ingested a pot cookie.

“More to the point, she was said to be freaking out,” Chase RCMP Sgt. Barry Kennedy said in a news release.

“Police attended and found that the woman was outside the house, buck-naked and being pinned down by her friends.”

Kennedy said the woman made a mess of the house before going outside.

“She eventually calmed down enough to don clothes and was then transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment,” he said.
