A Penticton accounting firm raised more than $4,000 in their second annual tax season food bank drive.
Long-Haggerty Robertson LLP's managed to double last year's collection with $2,367.25 and 1,242 pounds of food for the Penticton Food Bank, along with $742 in food, toiletries and food sent to food banks in the South Okanagan.
In total, the community raised $4,309.75.
"This community continues to amaze me," the firm said on social media.
"A huge thank you to Penticton's Bounce Radio and Penticton's Move for supporting this campaign again this year."
The company was offering 10 per cent off prices for personal taxes when you bring in a donation to the food back.
