You have to be kidding me? Right? Our (Kelowna) city council would never do that. OK. That was sarcasm.
Of course out city (council) would allow a project to double in size. All projects double. If you haven’t seen the pattern yet, here it is.
Put in a permit for something that may be close to the Official Community Plan (designation) and then go back to the city and ask to double it and bingo, there you go Mr. Developer.
The OCP (should) stand for “Optional Construction Perks” and not Official Community Plan.
