Interior Health declares COVID outbreak at Vernon's Noric House seniors home

COVID outbreak at Noric

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at a third Vernon seniors home.

Interior Health has added Noric House to its list of care facility outbreaks.

The outbreak is on the McAlpine Wing and was recorded Jan 23.

Outbreaks were also declared at Heritage Square (first floor) Jan. 11 and The Hamlets (long-term care floors) on Jan. 9.

No numbers of cases have been given.

In Salmon Arm, another outbreak was declared at Mount Ida Mews' Chinook and Coho Units on Jan 18.

A gastrointestinal outbreak was also recorded at Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong on Jan. 19.
