RCMP arrest man suspected in break and enter last June

Refused to leave bathroom

A Kamloops man was arrested for a break and enter after refusing to leave the bathroom of a Sahali business.

On Jan. 14, at about 8:15 p.m., Mounties responded to a business on Columbia Street West for a report of a man who was in the washroom, refusing to leave. RCMP said at the scene officers found a man they had received an arrest warrant for earlier that day.

“The warrant was issued following an investigation into a residential break and enter and theft report, which occurred on June 12, 2021 around 11:25 p.m.,” said RCMP Const. Crystal Evelyn.

Eric Andy Conrad Noble, 41, from Kamloops is charged with one count each of break and enter and commit an indictable offence, and possession of stolen property.

Police said Noble was held in custody for a bail hearing on Jan. 15, during that time he was released on an order with conditions and has Feb. 24 court date.
