Village of Lytton to begin debris removal following last summer's fire

Debris removal in Lytton

The Village of Lytton is preparing to begin to remove dangerous trees from public and private property — a step toward larger-scale debris removal for properties damaged or destroyed by last summer’s devastating wildfire.

The village took to social media this week to announce danger tree removal would begin soon.

“The Village of Lytton will be undertaking the removal of ‘danger’ and dead trees on public and private property in the coming days in preparation for larger-scale debris removal,” the post said.

“This will be done at no cost to the property owner.”

Anyone looking to opt out of the service is asked to contact the village by email at [email protected].

The village said further details would be provided in the coming days.
