Vernon realtor John Christmas has compiled a list of the best Christmas lights in the city

Take the Xmas light tour

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and one Vernon realtor is leading people to where the best light displays are.

For the third year in a row, the John Christmas Light Tour will guide people to some of the most festive scenes in the city.

“This year, I have partnered with the North Okanagan Neurological Association (NONA). NONA's programs help families and caregivers of children with a wide range of developmental challenges,” said Christmas.

“Each house on the tour was sponsored by a local business that made a donation to NONA to have their name on the sign.”

And each house will be clearly marked with a light tour sign.

“Each home was handpicked for the 2021 season and the list includes my family's favourite holiday houses. Just a friendly reminder to not walk on anyones property and most lights are off at 10 p.m.,” Christmas said, adding the tour is best done in the order the list is presented.

The NONA Child Development Centre is holding its Fill the Stocking Event Dec. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m., and will be collecting cash donations at its downtown centre.

Services provided at NONA include speech therapy, infant development, autism services and more. Every year, more than 800 children and families receive services from NONA.
