Penticton Vees crowd back at full capacity for annual Teddy Bear Toss home game Friday

Teddy bear toss at 100%

The Penticton Vees will be back with full capacity in their stands at Friday's home game.

New provincial health orders allow for venues in Interior Health to operate at 100 per cent capacity as long as every attendee 12 or over provides proof of vaccination. Previously, that had been restricted to 50 per cent.

The Vees will face the Cranbrook Bucks Friday night at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

It's a great day to be back at full capacity, because it is also the Vees' annual Teddy Bear Toss game. Fans are encouraged to bring new or lightly used stuffed toys, pajamas, socks, mittens, toques or new packaged diapers to chuck onto the ice after the Vees' first goal.

The Salvation Army will be there to collect all the donations and distribute them to those in need this holiday season.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m. Friday. Find tickets here.
