A portion of Water Street in downtown Kelowna will be closed to traffic for much of the day on Saturday.
The closure is necessary to accommodate festivities around the winter street market as well as the 33rd annual Christmas tree light up.
To accommodate the one-day festival, Water Street will be closed from Doyle Avenue to the Queensway roundabout from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.
The festival itself, which includes a market, music and children's activities runs from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., culminating with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Stuart Park at 6.
