More BCHL games postponed due to travel constraints

Weather hits BCHL schedule

The BC Hockey is eliminating all interlocking games for the balance of the 2021-2022 season.

The league announced the move Tuesday as it made a new round of postponements due to highway closures resulting from flooding issues in the Fraser Valley.

"Due to ongoing floods, road closures and the approaching winter weather, the BCHL will remove all out-of-conference games for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season," the league stated in a news release.

As a result of current highway closures, eight games have been postponed this week.

These include:

Date Teams Location
Friday, Dec. 3 Trail at Chilliwack Chilliwack Coliseum
Friday, Dec. 3 Langley at Vernon Kal Tire Place
Saturday, Dec. 4 Coquitlam at Vernon Kal Tire Place
Saturday, Dec. 4 Langley at West Kelowna Royal LePage Place
Sunday, Dec. 5 Coquitlam at Cranbrook Western Financial Place
Sunday, Dec. 5 Langley at Salmon Arm Shaw Centre
Friday, Dec. 10 Salmon Arm at Alberni Valley Weyerhaeuser Arena
Saturday, Dec. 11 Salmon Arm at Powell River Hap Parker Arena

Six games have also been added to the schedule, including;
