The BC Hockey is eliminating all interlocking games for the balance of the 2021-2022 season.
The league announced the move Tuesday as it made a new round of postponements due to highway closures resulting from flooding issues in the Fraser Valley.
"Due to ongoing floods, road closures and the approaching winter weather, the BCHL will remove all out-of-conference games for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season," the league stated in a news release.
As a result of current highway closures, eight games have been postponed this week.
