Outbreaks declared over at 2 Okanagan care homes

Outbreaks of COVID-19 at two long-term care facilities in the Okanagan have come to an end.

The outbreak at Village by the Station in Penticton has been declared over after 41 cases and three deaths. Twenty-seven residents and 14 staff tested positive before the outbreak was brought under control.

An outbreak at Sun Pointe Village long-term care in Kelowna has also been declared over after 10 cases in seven residents and three staff members.
