A Trout Creek gas station was a hub of police activity Friday night.

Multiple social media reports have indicated the Go Market on Highway 97 in Trout Creek outside Summerland was surrounded by cop cars shortly after 7 p.m.

Those reports have been unconfirmed as of yet by RCMP, but local social media pages were full of witnesses claiming they had seen multiple police cars on scene.

Castanet has contacted RCMP for more information, and will provide an update when that information is available.
