Police are looking for help to find Daniel Ritchie, a 35-year-old man whose rental pickup truck was found abandoned on a forest service road near Clearwater.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man whose rental truck was found abandoned on a forest service road near Clearwater.

According to Clearwater RCMP, 35-year-old Daniel Ritchie was last heard from on Oct. 13.

Police said Ritchie had been driving a rental Ford pickup truck since Oct. 8, as his regular vehicle was being repaired in Kamloops.

The rental truck was due to be returned this weekend, but was found abandoned 14 kilometres up 1130 Forest Service Road, located off of Dunn Lake Road in East Blackpool.

Police say Ritchie had some days off, but was expected to return to work in Valemount on Monday.

Ritchie is described as a white man standing about five-foot-eight, with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with information on Ritchie’s whereabouts is asked to contact their local police detachment or Crime Stoppers.
